Homemade Halloween Decorations
The Scary Halloween Season Is Upon Us And It’s Time To Get Creative with some Homemade Halloween Decorations
While I do enjoy the tradition of pumpkin carving, it does get very messy! So this year I’m trying something a bit different; here are a few ideas to get your home prepared for being scared with our Halloween Decorating Ideas!
Chalkboard pumpkins are a great way of bringing Halloween into your home with very little effort (or mess). Plus, the black paint adds a little extra spook!
Clustered together with a few smaller pumpkins and you can create a wonderful seasonal display on your front doorstep. The addition of some tea light candles scattered amongst them will really enhance the display at night.
White pumpkins make a fantastically chic centrepiece for the dining table or fireplace, especially if you are not so keen on orange. They can be quite hard to come by in the supermarkets, so I cheated and painted these! Couple these with some white church candles for an Autumnal look that could last a few weeks.
Broken twigs from the garden are an excellent source of scary homemade Halloween decorations without costing a fortune. Paint them black for a more dramatic look, and even add some LED lights for a warmer glow.
Whether you decide less is more, or you have the urge to cover your house with pumpkins, we hope you have spooky fun making Halloween decorations.
