Spring Clean Your Bedroom

How To Spring Clean Your Bedroom
If you’re anything like me, the main cluttering issue in the bedroom will be the contents of your wardrobe. It’s best to tackle this sensitive area in an objective mood, and ideally when you’re on a spring clean roll to avoid emotional attachment playing a part.
I think the best way to stay objective is to make 3 distinct piles:
Keep, Maybe and Discard
Tidy away your keeps & try on your maybe’s to make a final decision, or invite a friend round to help and offer to return the favour. Finally, take the resultant Discard pile to the charity shop immediately to avoid any last minute pangs of regret. As a reward for all this hard work you could even treat yourself to a new wardrobe for your newly organised clothes, like this stunning wardrobe. Or if that is not in your budget, how about some refreshing ‘perfect linen sachets .
If you’ve a little more money to spend – update your bed linen for a quick update – now is a good time for some good sales finds, this Josette Cotton collection should fit nicely into many colour schemes, its elegant and floral but not too too feminine.
The Spring Clean and de cluttering is about renewal and bringing to the fore fresh ideas, saying goodbye to the old that no longer server you well. It can be a gradual process, so of course set yourself a manageable schedule of when you will tackle each room, and enjoying the time to picture the bigger projects you’d like to do in the year ahead.
A good Spring Clean is a lovely way to give attention to your home and appreciate your surroundings. What better way than to choosing a new floral aromatic candle, putting some fresh flowers in a vase, and sitting down to take it all in and start to picture the year ahead.
But don’t just take my word for it, please do send me your best tips and ideas, I’d love to hear from you!
